We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Manager – Accounts to lead the Accounts and Finance function of our JCB dealership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the overall accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, budgeting, taxation, cash flow management, and internal controls while supporting business growth and operational efficiency.
The successful candidate should have strong leadership skills, sound financial knowledge, and experience managing finance teams in a dealership or commercial business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the dealership.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting.
- Ensure timely closure of monthly and annual accounts.
- Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis to support management decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund utilisation to ensure financial stability.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, statutory auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities during audits and assessments.
- Develop and implement financial controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
- Oversee payroll accounting, employee reimbursements, and vendor payments.
- Prepare MIS reports, management dashboards, and financial presentations for senior management.
- Support inventory valuation and reconciliation of vehicle, equipment, and spare parts stock.
- Work closely with Sales, Service, Spare Parts, and HR departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts team while fostering a culture of accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting.
- CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), M.Com, or equivalent professional qualification will be preferred.
Experience Required
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a managerial or team leadership role.
- Experience in automobile dealership, commercial vehicle dealership, construction equipment, heavy equipment, manufacturing, or similar commercial industry will be highly preferred.
Pay: From ₹45,000.00 per month
