Job Summary
The RTO Registration Executive handles all activities related to two-wheeler vehicle invoicing, online RTO applications, document verification, and regional compliance. This role bridges the gap between the dealership, the customer, and the local Tamil Nadu RTO to secure Registration Certificates (RC) and high-security registration plates (HSRP).
Key Responsibilities:
Online Portal Management: Upload and process vehicle applications via the government Parivahan / VAHAN portal.
Document Verification: Verify critical customer paperwork including local Tamil Nadu address proofs, ID proofs, vehicle invoices, and active insurance policies.
EV Compliance: Manage registration paperwork for electric two-wheelers, aligning with low-speed/high-speed regulations and processing FAME or state EV subsidy documentation.
RTO Coordination: Visit local Tamil Nadu RTO offices for vehicle physical inspections, tax payments, hypothecation (loan) entries, and number allotments.
Showroom Delivery Logistics: Coordinate with the sales and accessories departments to ensure HSRP number plates are fitted and RC smart cards are delivered swiftly to customers.
Database Upkeep: Maintain digital data tracking sheets in MS Excel or dealership DMS (Dealer Management System) for all sold and pending registrations.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education: Any undergraduate degree.
Experience: Minimum 2~3 years of back-office or RTO coordination experience within a two-wheeler or four-wheeler automotive dealership.
Key Skills & Competencies
Local Language Proficiency: Fluent in Tamil is mandatory to communicate effectively with regional transport officials and local customers.
Technical Skills: Basic hands-on proficiency in MS Excel, email correspondence, and navigating central transport portals.
Regulatory Knowledge: Sound understanding of Tamil Nadu road tax structures, hypothecation cancellation/addition processes, and insurance variants (First-party vs. Third-party).
Estimated Salary & Benefits
Salary Range: ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 per month (varies based on experience).
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
