Job Summary
The Accounts & Billing Executive will handle billing, accounting, reconciliations, and administrative coordination in a transport company. The role includes managing invoices, tracking payments, handling bank and vendor transactions, and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Billing & Invoicing
- Prepare and generate freight bills based on trips, loading and unloading quantity, and client work order
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing to clients
- Maintain and systematically organize billing records along with all supporting documents, including LR copies and receiving challan copies, in both Excel format and properly filed hard copy records for audit and reference purposes.
2. Receivables & Collections
- Track outstanding payments from clients
- Follow up for dues and ensure timely collections
- Maintain debtor aging reports
3. Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain GST billing compliance
- Ensure proper billing documentation for audits
- Assist in filing returns (GST)
4. Reconciliation
· The Accounts & Billing Executive will handle all types of reconciliations, including bank, customer ledger, and vendor accounts to ensure accuracy of financial records.
· The role involves identifying discrepancies, resolving mismatches, and coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams for corrections.
· Ensure all accounts are regularly updated, verified, and aligned with company records and statements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B. Com preferred)
- Basic knowledge of accounting and GST
- Experience in Tally / ERP
- Good Excel skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
Experience
- 2–3 years (transport/logistics industry is a plus)
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
