how Electrical / Electronics Maintenance Engineer
We are looking for a Diploma Electrical Engineer in a Machine Shop who can handle preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on CNCs, SPMs, and facility equipment. Who knows to minimize machine downtime, troubleshoot control systems, and ensure strict compliance with electrical safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Maintenance: Perform routine and breakdown maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including Special Purpose Machines and material handling systems. (Cranes and Forklifts)
- Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faults in electrical panels, servo motors, VFDs, transformers, switchgears, and automation systems.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled PM routines, check wiring and connections, replace worn parts, and update machine logs.
- Control Systems: Modify and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and process sensors.
- Power & Distribution: Oversee HT/LT panels, switchgears, power factor correction, and emergency backup power (generators/UPS)
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and industrial electrical safety protocols.
- Spares & Inventory: Track maintenance spares, coordinate with the stores department and maintain documentation for audits.
- Continuous Improvement: Assist in the installation of new equipment and support plant energy efficiency initiatives.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 6+ years in industrial maintenance, specifically within an automotive, auto-ancillary, textile or precision machine shop environment.
- Technical Proficiencies: Reading electrical schematics, operating multimeters/oscilloscopes, programming PLCs, and managing VFDs and servo drives.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
