About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Account Executive with at least 2 years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, payroll processing, and financial documentation. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian taxation, compliance filings, bookkeeping, and vendor management while ensuring accuracy and timely execution of financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and accounting reports.
- Handle GST, TDS, PF, and other statutory compliance, including timely filing of returns.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare invoices and maintain accurate billing records.
- Manage vendor accounts, payments, reconciliations, and documentation.
- Register, renew, and manage Digital Signature Certificates (DSC) and map them to government portals such as EPFO, MCA, and TRACES.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities whenever required.
- Maintain proper financial documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support the finance team in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, PF compliance, and statutory filings.
- Hands-on experience in payroll processing.
- Practical experience in bank reconciliation, bookkeeping, invoice preparation, and vendor management.
- Experience in DSC registration, renewal, and portal mapping (EPFO, MCA, TRACES).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or similar ERP systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge or experience in US Accounting will be considered an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
