Key Responsibility
1. Lead Generation & Enquiry Management
- Generate and receive enquiries through emails, India MART, phone calls, and sales executives.
- Maintain the Enquiry Sheet with accurate, up-to-date records.
- Screen and prioritize enquiries/leads based on potential revenue, urgency, and alignment with company capabilities.
- Maintain the Target Account List (TAL) by updating the Major List, Reference Sheet, and Expo Sheet.
2. Customer Engagement & Techno-Commercial Coordination
- Engage with customers to understand technical and commercial requirements; route enquiries to Technical, Costing, and Admin teams.
- Review and follow up on techno-commercial offers, TDS, quotations, and drawings with customers for timely closure.
- Conduct presentations, product demos, or virtual meetings to explain technical features and benefits.
3. Business Development & Deal Closure
- Plan and conduct visits to existing customers and target companies to strengthen relationships and explore opportunities.
- Negotiate commercial terms, close deals, and receive/verify Purchase Orders.
- Fill, verify, and submit vendor registration and client forms to customers on time.
4. Order Execution & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth order execution.
- Approve dispatch and delivery schedules.
- Collect post-delivery feedback, escalate quality/technical issues to relevant teams, and ensure corrective action is taken.
5. Reporting, CRM & Market Intelligence
- Update CRM with accurate stage-wise opportunity movement; prepare and share monthly/quarterly forecasts and sales pipelines.
- Track market trends, competitor pricing, and new product launches to identify opportunities and threats.
- Submit an expense report for every meeting/visit to the Finance team with bills attached.
6. Client Relationship Management & Collections
- Maintain strong client relationships during and post-sales through regular communication and support.
- Liaise with Accounts for advance/credit terms and ensure timely payment collection.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer visits to generate brand visibility.
- Send appreciation mails or calls to customers on order completions, anniversaries, or repeat business.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production/Industrial preferred) or equivalent technical discipline; MBA in Sales/Marketing is an added advantage.
- Experience: 3-7 years of experience in B2B industrial/manufacturing sales, business development, or technical sales, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read technical drawings and specifications; working knowledge of costing, quotations, and techno-commercial offer preparation.
- Software/Tools: Proficiency in CRM software, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and IndiaMART or similar B2B lead platforms.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to conduct technical presentations and negotiate confidently with customers.
- Other Skills: Strong follow-up discipline, relationship management, market awareness, and willingness to travel for customer/site visits and trade shows.
- Key Attributes: Target-driven, customer-centric, detail-oriented, and able to coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Logistics, Finance, Accounts).
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
