We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to support the finance of our EdTech company. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of accounting principles and a proactive approach to managing day-to-day financial tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day accounting operations
- Record and maintain financial transactions (data entry, vouchers, ledgers)
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Assist in monthly closings and report generation
- Handle petty cash and expense reimbursements
- Coordinate with vendors and clients for payment follow-ups
- Support in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Maintain organized financial records and documents
- Assist with audit preparation and internal reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role (freshers with strong basics may apply)
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
