1. Daily Cleaning & Sanitation
- Workspaces & Meeting Rooms: Dust, wipe down, and sanitize desks, tables, and shared equipment (like keyboards and monitors). Clean conference rooms before and after meetings.
- Restrooms: Disinfect and sanitize toilets, sinks, and mirrors. Mop floors and restock consumables such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
- Break Rooms & Kitchens: Wipe down countertops, tables, and microwaves. Load/unload dishwashers, clean sinks, and ensure the coffee station is hygienic and orderly. Excel London +4
- Floors & Glass: Vacuum carpeted areas, sweep/mop hard floors, and clean glass doors or windows to maintain a professional appearance.
2. Waste Management & Recycling
- Trash Removal: Empty daily waste baskets from individual offices, cubicles, and common areas.
- Recycling: Separate and dispose of recyclable materials (paper, cardboard, plastics) in compliance with local waste guidelines.
- Break Room Refrigerators: Routinely clear out expired or spoiled food and sanitize the inside of the fridges.
3. Inventory Management
- Supply Restocking: Monitor and track inventory of cleaning products, toiletries, and break room essentials (coffee, sugar, paper plates, etc.).
- Supply Ordering: Alert management or the facilities team when supplies run low so that new orders can be placed in a timely manner.
4. Maintenance & Safety Reporting
- ** Hazard Identification:** Monitor for spills, trip hazards, and faulty office equipment that pose a safety risk to employees.
- Repair Reporting: Report maintenance issues (e.g., leaking faucets, broken light fixtures, damaged furniture) to building management or the internal maintenance team.
5. Equipment Upkeep
- Tool Maintenance: Properly clean, disinfect, and store all housekeeping equipment (vacuums, mops, carts) at the end of every shift.
