Job Description: Electrical Engineer (WTP / GLSR / OHSR)

Role Summary:
Responsible for execution, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems for Water Treatment Plants (WTP), GLSR, and OHSR, ensuring quality, safety, and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and execute installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems at site.
- Installation and commissioning of:
- HT/LT panels, MCC, PCC
- Transformers, DG sets, UPS systems
- Cable laying, termination, and testing
- Earthing and lightning protection systems
- Pumps & Motors
- Ensure proper power distribution for plant operations and pumping systems.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and instrumentation teams for smooth execution.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure quality, safety, and productivity.
- Liaise with client/consultant for inspections, approvals, and progress reporting.
- Identify and resolve electrical issues during execution.
- Ensure timely closure of punch points and maintain as-built drawings & documentation.
Key Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems in EPC projects.
- Experience in panel installation, cable management, and power distribution systems.
- Understanding of electrical drawings, SLDs, and layouts.
- Basic knowledge of PLC/SCADA interface (preferred).
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Profile:
- Experience in WTP / Water Infrastructure projects.
- Ability to independently handle electrical works at site.
- Exposure to GLSR/OHSR pumping systems.
Education:
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Candidate should be open to site-based role and capable of working in a fast-paced EPC environment.
