Divine Grace Hospital is expanding its holistic wellness and Ayurvedic care services! We are looking for skilled, physically active, and dedicated Panchakarma Therapists to join our Integrative Healthcare Team.
In this role, you will work directly under the supervision of our Ayurvedic Physicians (BAMS) to administer authentic, high-quality Panchakarma and allied therapeutic procedures. You will play a crucial role in the healing process of our patients by ensuring treatments are delivered with precision, care, and the utmost hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Therapy Execution: Perform prescribed Panchakarma therapies (including but not limited to Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Basti, Nasya, Vamana, Virechana, and various types of Swedana/Kizhi) exactly as directed by the consulting Ayurvedic Doctor.
- Preparation: Prepare the therapy rooms, treatment beds, and necessary equipment before each session. Accurately prepare medicinal oils, decoctions (Kashayams), and herbal pastes required for daily treatments.
- Patient Care & Comfort: Ensure the patient is comfortable, draped properly, and feels safe before, during, and after the therapy. Monitor the patient for any immediate reactions during the procedure and report back to the physician.
- Hygiene & Maintenance: Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and sterilization in the therapy rooms and surrounding areas. Ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored properly post-treatment.
- Inventory Management: Track the usage of medicinal oils, powders, linens, and disposable items, and assist in maintaining an updated inventory for the Ayurveda department.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Certificate Course in Panchakarma Therapy / Ayurveda Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a reputed Ayurvedic hospital, clinic, or wellness center.
- Skills: * Excellent physical stamina, strength, and endurance to perform continuous therapeutic massages and procedures.
- Deep knowledge of pressure points (Marmas) and traditional strokes (especially Kerala Ayurvedic treatment protocols).
- Good communication skills to guide patients through the procedure instructions.
- High personal hygiene and professional grooming standards.
