SKR Construction is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer – Finishing Works Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all finishing activities at construction sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising finishing works such as plastering, tiling, painting, waterproofing, ceilings, and joinery; ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules; coordinating with subcontractors, consultants, and project teams; monitoring site progress; maintaining safety standards; and ensuring the timely completion and successful handover of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all finishing works, including plastering, tiling, painting, waterproofing, ceilings, joinery, and related activities.
- Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Monitor daily site progress and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Manage manpower, materials, and resources to achieve timely project completion.
- Conduct quality inspections, identify defects, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Enforce site safety regulations and ensure compliance with company HSE requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, MEP teams, clients, and project management personnel.
- Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, inspection documents, and work measurements.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and successful handover of completed works.
- Ensure timely closure of snag items, minimize rework, and achieve high levels of client satisfaction
Qualification:
- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- 1–6+ years experience in construction finishing works supervision
Skills:
- Knowledge of construction drawings
- Site management and coordination skills
- Basic AutoCAD knowledge preferred
