Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic and adaptable Transport Team Leader to oversee our growing road transport operations, primarily focused on cross-border logistics and fleet management. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will manage end-to-end transport functions—including dispatch planning, route optimization, carrier management, and fleet coordination.
Since our company operates its own growing fleet and is deploying a custom-made transport management system starting next month, you will play a hands-on role in shaping daily operational workflows. On-the-job training will be provided to ensure you master our specialized transport requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Fleet & Dispatch Operations: Coordinate daily dispatch schedules, driver allocations, and route planning for our growing in-house fleet and subcontracted carriers.
- Cross-Border Management: Oversee cross-border transit procedures, ensuring compliance with international driving regulations, transit documentation, and specialized cargo safety (including temperature-controlled and hazardous goods).
- Route Optimization: Analyze shipping routes to minimize transit times, maximize fuel efficiency, and ensure reliable delivery schedules.
- System Deployment: Participate actively in implementing and adopting our new tailor-made transport and planning software launching next month.
- Team Leadership & Reporting: Work directly under the Managing Director to report daily fleet performance, manage driver/carrier coordination, and maintain operational standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: University or college graduate.
- Experience & Seniority: 0–2 years of experience (Learn-on-the-job available for motivated graduates with strong aptitude).
- Scope Knowledge: Familiarity or willingness to learn cross-border transport rules, route planning, and specialized cargo handling (ADR/temperature-controlled/transit rules).
- Language: Fluent command of business English (written and spoken).
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly adapt to new software platforms and digital transport tools.
Working Hours & Schedule
- Schedule: Standard weekday schedule with half-day working weekends.
- Note: Because logistics is a 24/7 service industry, flexibility to address urgent transport or driver issues when needed is expected.
