Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Vehicle Maintenance & Service Management
Plan and monitor regular servicing and preventive maintenance of personal/management vehicles.
Ensure all vehicles are maintained in excellent, safe and roadworthy condition.
Monitor vehicle performance, mileage, tyres, battery, brakes, engine, AC and other critical components.
Maintain complete vehicle-wise service and maintenance history.
2. Mahindra & Mahindra Service Coordination
Coordinate with Mahindra & Mahindra authorized service centres, dealers and workshops for servicing and repairs.
Follow up on repair activities, spare parts and delivery schedules.
Verify service quality and ensure vehicles are returned in proper condition.
Handle warranty-related service requirements where applicable.
3. Driver & Vehicle Operations
Supervise and coordinate drivers assigned to personal/management vehicles.
Manage driver schedules and daily transportation requirements.
Monitor driver punctuality, discipline, vehicle handling and safe-driving practices.
Ensure vehicles are available as per management requirements.
4. Vehicle Inspection & Quality Control
Conduct regular inspections before and after servicing.
Identify mechanical or electrical issues and arrange timely corrective action.
Ensure vehicles are clean, safe, reliable and ready for use.
Monitor recurring issues and take preventive measures.
5. Documentation & Cost Management
Maintain vehicle registration, insurance, inspection and service-related documents.
Track service schedules and document expiry dates.
Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, repair costs and maintenance expenses.
Review service invoices and ensure cost-effective maintenance.
6. Breakdown & Emergency Support
Coordinate immediate assistance during vehicle breakdowns or emergencies.
Arrange towing, roadside assistance and urgent repairs when required.
Ensure minimum disruption to management transportation requirements.
7. Reporting & Vendor Coordination
Maintain accurate records of servicing, repairs, fuel, mileage and expenses.
Prepare periodic vehicle status and maintenance reports for management.
Coordinate with workshops, dealers, insurance companies and other vendors.
Ensure timely completion of all vehicle-related activities.
Qualification
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
Experience
8–12 years of relevant experience in Automobile Service, Workshop Management, Vehicle Maintenance or Fleet Operations.
Preferred: Candidates with experience in Mahindra & Mahindra / Mahindra authorized service centres, premium vehicles or personal/management vehicle service management.
