Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service
- Supervise restaurant operations during assigned shifts
- Tale food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely service
- Coordinate with the kitchen for smooth order preparation and delivery
- Handle guest complaints and ensure prompt resolution
- Guide and support stewards and service associates
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and hygiene standards
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Operate POS system and handle billing when required
- Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, food safety, and service standards
Requirements
- Any Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management
- 2-3 years of experience in F & B service as a Captain or similar role in Hotel or Restaurant service
- Good Communication skills Tamil, English
- Strong customer service and Guest handling skills
- Ability to superwise and guide junior stewards
- knowledge of POS/billing systems
- Good leadership and team work skiils
- knowledge of upselling and order taking
- Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
