To support New Product Development (NPD) activities by preparing APQP and PPAP documentation, coordinating with cross-functional teams, tracking project progress, and ensuring timely development and launch of new products in accordance with customer and organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. APQP & Documentation
- Prepare Process Flow Diagram (PFD)
- Prepare PFMEA
- Prepare Control Plans
- Maintain Project Time Plans
- Maintain Project Trackers
- Develop and maintain PPAP documentation
- Ensure documentation compliance and timely updates
2. Project Management
- Monitor project timelines for new product launches
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Tool Room, Purchase and Planning departments
- Track milestones and escalate delays to concerned stakeholders
3. Manufacturing Support
- Support product trials and process validation
- Work with Forging, Heat Treatment, Machining, Plating and Assembly processes
- Assist in process improvement initiatives
4. Quality & Customer Requirements
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications
- Support internal and external audits
- Coordinate sample approval and product validation activities
