Key Responsibilities
- Develop and generate new business opportunities in international markets.
- Coordinate with overseas agents, international customers, and global partners.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with overseas clients.
- Prepare and share freight quotations, negotiate rates, and close sales opportunities.
- Handle inquiries related to ocean freight, air freight, and logistics services.
- Conduct sales calls, virtual meetings, and email communication with international prospects.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
- Follow up on quotations, bookings, and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate sales records, client databases, and pipeline reports.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on international trade routes, freight market trends, and shipping industry developments.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Additional foreign language proficiency (e.g., Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, German, French, Japanese, Korean, or Portuguese) is highly preferred and will be an added advantage
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Experience in overseas sales and international client coordination
- Good understanding of freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of CRM software is an added advantage
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, BBA, B.Com, Marketing, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, or any related discipline.
Educational Qualification
- 0–3 years of experience in Overseas Sales, International Business Development, Freight Forwarding, Shipping, or Logistics.
- Freshers can also apply but candidates with prior experience handling international clients or overseas agents will be preferred.
