Role Summary
The Physics Teacher will be responsible for teaching Physics as per State Board syllabus, developing conceptual understanding, practical knowledge, and improving board exam performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Academic Duties
Teach Physics as per Tamil Nadu State Board syllabus.
Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials.
Complete syllabus within academic calendar.
Conduct regular class tests and model exams.
2. Concept & Practical Development
Explain Physics concepts clearly with real-life examples.
Conduct lab experiments and practical sessions.
Ensure proper maintenance and safe usage of laboratory equipment.
3. Exam Preparation
Prepare question papers and assignments.
Evaluate answer sheets and provide feedback.
Focus on improving 10th and 12th public exam results.
4. Student Support
Identify slow learners and conduct remedial classes.
Guide students for competitive exams (if applicable).
Motivate students towards higher studies in science.
5. Classroom & Discipline
Maintain discipline and positive classroom environment.
Monitor attendance and student behaviour.
Communicate academic progress to parents during PTMs.
Required Qualifications
M.Sc. / B.Sc. in Physics.
B.Ed. mandatory.
Strong conceptual and practical knowledge.
Good communication skills (Tamil & English).
Preferred Skills
Experience in handling Higher Secondary section.
Good board exam result track record.
Ability to simplify numerical problems.
Basic computer knowledge.
