Job Description :
The EIC Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control system documentation using EPLAN Electric P8. The role supports industrial, manufacturing, or process automation projects by delivering accurate, standards-compliant electrical and control drawings from concept through commissioning.
Core Responsibilities
A senior-level EIC Designer typically:
- Creates detailed electrical schematics and engineering drawings using EPLAN Electric P8
- Develops and maintains control system documentation such as wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams (SLDs), terminal plans, and bills of materials (BOMs).
- Defines control panel and switchgear layouts, ensuring correct component placement, connectivity, and design for manufacturing.
- Uses macros, symbol libraries, and templates within EPLAN to standardize and automate design work.
- Collaborates with mechanical, automation, and project teams to integrate electrical design with overall system requirements.
- Ensures electrical designs comply with relevant standards (e.g., IEC, UL, national/international codes) and company practices.
- Generates complete documentation packages for production, fabrication, assembly and commissioning.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proficiency with EPLAN Electric P8 software — essential for schematic design, panel layouts, and documentation.
- Good understanding of electrical control systems, PLC signals, instrumentation interfaces, power distribution, and automation components.
- Experience with macro creation, symbol libraries, and database management in EPLAN P8.
- Ability to read and apply industry standards (IEC, UL, VDE, etc.).

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
