Job Summary
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that machinery, equipment, and facilities operate efficiently and safely. This role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting equipment failures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
- Prepare and maintain maintenance schedules and records.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Install, test, and commission new machines and equipment.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance tools.
- Work with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance activities.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as TPM, Lean, or Six Sigma.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance (or as required).
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Familiarity with PLCs, motors, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and utilities is an advantage.
- Understanding of safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

- Experience with ISO standards and maintenance documentation.

Working Conditions
