Job Summary:
We are seeking an Instructor for the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Department to support practical training, laboratory instruction, and technical activities. The candidate will assist faculty members in conducting laboratory sessions, guide students in practical applications, and ensure effective operation of laboratory equipment and systems. The role requires strong technical knowledge in electronics, communication systems, electrical circuits, and laboratory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and assist practical classes and laboratory sessions for ECE students.
- Prepare laboratory equipment, instruments, tools, and materials before practical sessions.
- Demonstrate the operation and handling of electronic and communication laboratory equipment and guide students during experiments and technical activities.
- Assist in troubleshooting electronic circuits, communication systems, and laboratory equipment.
- Support project work, prototype development, workshops, and practical examinations conducted by the department.
- Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, servicing, and safe operation of laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Maintain records of laboratory inventory, consumables, equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and related documentation.
- Monitor laboratory activities and ensure adherence to safety standards and laboratory discipline.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within laboratory premises.
- Coordinate with faculty members for the smooth execution of laboratory, academic, accreditation, audit, and inspection-related activities.
Desired Candidate Qualification
- B.E in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) / Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) – mandatory.
- 2–5 years of experience in teaching, laboratory instruction, or technical support roles.
- Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, communication systems, microcontrollers, and instrumentation.
- Ability to handle laboratory equipment and conduct practical demonstrations effectively.
- Basic understanding of troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of electronic systems.
- Good knowledge of laboratory safety standards and procedures.
- Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with faculty members and students.
- Experience in educational institutions/polytechnic/engineering colleges is preferred.
