QUALIFICATION:
B.E/B.TECH/ DIPLOMA (MECHANICAL ENGINEERING) - REQUIRED
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 / MS Project
· Understanding of construction methodology
· Familiarity with EVM, critical path method (CPM)
· Analytical and reporting skills
· Good communication and coordination ability
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
· Develop baseline, revised, and recovery schedules.
· Define work breakdown structure (WBS) aligned with contract scope.
· Plan activities based on engineering, procurement, and construction sequences.
· Track daily, weekly, and monthly progress against baseline.
· Identify schedule delays and critical path impacts.
· Prepare look-ahead schedules (2-week / 4-week / monthly).
· Recommend corrective actions to meet project milestones.
· Coordinate with QS and project teams for resource loading (manpower, materials, equipment).
· Monitor planned vs. actual productivity.
· Assist in cost forecasting and cash flow planning.
· Support Earned Value Management (EVM).
· Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for client and management.
· Generate S-curves, histograms, dashboards, and MIS reports.
· Maintain planning records for audits, claims, and variations.
· Support delay analysis (impact analysis, time extension claims).
· Identify schedule risks and constraints.
· Perform what-if analysis and scenario planning.
· Review contract timelines and milestone obligations.
· Assist in EOT (Extension of Time) and delay claims preparation.
· Maintain records to support contractual entitlements.
· Forecast project completion dates and key milestone slippages.
· Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and QA/QC teams.
· Attend progress review meetings with client/consultants.
