Role Overview:
We are looking for a PostgreSQL Programmer with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in PostgreSQL database development, maintenance, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL skills and be capable of managing database performance and troubleshooting issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
- Write and troubleshoot SQL queries, functions, triggers, and stored procedures.
- Perform database performance tuning, backup, and recovery activities.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and availability.
- Collaborate with development teams to support database requirements.
- Assist with database migrations, upgrades, and issue resolution.
Required Skills
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/pgSQL, functions, triggers, and indexing.
- Experience in query optimization and performance tuning.
- Understanding of database design, backup/recovery, and security.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments is preferred.
- Knowledge with Git and cloud databases (AWS/Azure PostgreSQL).
- Basic scripting knowledge (Shell/Python) is a plus.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
