Role Overview
The Production Supervisor will oversee daily operations in the blending, grinding, and packaging of chutney powders, masala powders, and chilli powders. This role ensures smooth production flow across multiple sections, maintains quality standards, manages manpower, and coordinates with other departments to meet domestic and export requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Powder Production & Blending
- Manage 6–7 batches of chutney powders and 2–3 batches of masala powders daily.
- Supervise terrace chilli cutting and grinding of 1–2 batches of chilli powder.
- Verify ingredient weights before powder preparation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Supply finished powders to Snacks and Pickles Sections.
- Operations & Manpower Management
- Monitor daily production activities and shop floor operations.
- Deploy manpower effectively across Production and Packaging Sections.
- Ensure smooth coordination between blending, packaging, and other section heads.
- ERP & Documentation
- Manage ERP entries, including blending updates, shop floor entries, FG (Finished Goods) entries for export and domestic orders.
- Verify production records for accuracy and compliance.
- Order Fulfillment & Coordination
- Follow up on export and domestic orders.
- Align production schedules with order requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Quality & Compliance
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards during powder preparation and packaging.
- Ensure adherence to company quality benchmarks and production protocols.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of food production processes, particularly spice and condiment preparation.
- Experience in manpower management and shop floor supervision.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production record-keeping.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and manage daily operations.
- Attention to detail in verifying weights, batch consistency, and quality standards.
Pay: From ₹200,000.00 per year
