Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and passionate South Indian Chef to prepare authentic South Indian cuisine while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency. The ideal candidate should have expertise in preparing traditional breakfast, lunch, and dinner items and be capable of managing the South Indian kitchen operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide variety of authentic South Indian dishes, including breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner items.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all food items.
- Plan daily menus in coordination with the Head Chef.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen sanitation.
- Monitor food inventory and coordinate with the purchasing team for timely procurement of ingredients.
- Minimize food wastage by following proper storage and inventory management practices.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and company policies.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance requirements.
- Assist in developing new recipes and seasonal menu offerings.
- Ensure timely preparation and service during peak hours.
- Maintain proper portion control and cost efficiency.
Experience
- 4+ years of experience as a South Indian Chef in a restaurant, hotel, café, catering service, or cloud kitchen.
- Experience in handling high-volume food production is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of authentic South Indian cuisine.
- Expertise in preparing south dishes.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently.
- Good time management and multitasking skills.
- Teamwork and leadership abilities.
- Attention to detail and consistency in food preparation.
Working Conditions
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
