Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive with 2–5 years of experience in Insurance Accounting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in MIS reporting, insurance commission accounting, and payment processing (pay-in and payout). The candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day accounting activities related to insurance operations.

Manage insurance commission accounting, including commission pay-in and payout reconciliation.

Process and reconcile customer and partner payments (payment-in and payment-out).

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.

Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.

Ensure accurate accounting entries and timely month-end closing activities.

Reconcile insurer statements, broker statements, and internal records.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders and insurance partners to resolve payment and reconciliation issues.

Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.

Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.

Support internal and external audits by providing the required financial information and documentation.

Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent.

2–5 years of experience in Insurance Accounting.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliations.

Hands-on experience in MIS reporting.

Experience handling payment-in and payment-out processes.

Good knowledge of insurance commission accounting and reconciliation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis).

Experience with ERP/accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems is preferred.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Candidates from Insurance, InsurTech, Broking, BFSI, or Financial Services organizations.

Experience working with insurance commission accounting and insurer reconciliations will be an added advantage.
