The Foreman is responsible for supervising daily production activities, managing manpower, ensuring quality standards, maintaining safety compliance, and achieving production targets in the pipes and fittings manufacturing unit. The role involves coordinating with production, maintenance, quality, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
- Allocate manpower and monitor shift-wise production targets.
- Oversee extrusion, molding, and finishing processes for pipes and fittings.
- Ensure product quality standards and minimize rejection and wastage.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to reduce machine downtime.
- Enforce safety practices, PPE usage, and maintain workplace discipline.
- Maintain production records, shift reports, and process documentation.
- Train and guide operators and helpers for efficient performance.
- Coordinate with quality, stores, and dispatch departments for seamless operations.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
