Engineering Leadership
Lead a team of Electrical & Instrumentation engineers in executing vacuum system projects from order intake through commissioning and handover.
- Establish engineering priorities, allocate resources, and monitor project execution progress.
- Ensure compliance with company engineering standards, customer specifications, and applicable regulations.
- Review and approve electrical and instrumentation design deliverables.
- Drive engineering excellence, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Project Engineering & Execution
- Manage complete E&I engineering activities for vacuum packages, skids, and integrated vacuum systems.
- Develop and review following deliverables for the project.
- Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
- Electrical Load Lists
- Control Panel Design
- Instrument Indexes
- Instrument data sheets
- Motor Documents
- Cable Schedules
- I/O Lists
- Loop Diagrams
- Wiring Diagrams
- Functional Design Specifications
- Cause & Effect Matrices
- PLC and HMI architecture
- Coordinate engineering interfaces with Mechanical, Process, Automation, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Service teams.
- Monitor project schedules and engineering milestones to ensure timely delivery.
- Attending Hazop study/SIL study
- Attending PLC/DCS FAT
Vacuum System Integration
- Lead electrical and control system integration of all kinds of vacuum systems
- Ensure proper integration of instrumentation, sensors, analyzers, actuators, VFDs, motors, and control systems.
- Support system performance optimization, energy efficiency initiatives, and reliability improvements.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary technical focal point for customers during engineering execution.
- Participate in project review meetings and design discussions.
- Support technical clarifications, change requests, and customer approvals.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholder
Vendor & Procurement Support
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Ensure designs comply with applicable standards including: IEC,IEEE,NEC,ISA,CE,ATEX (where applicable)
- Customer-specific standards
- Promote safety-by-design principles.
- Participate in risk assessments, HAZOP reviews, and technical audits.
Ensure compliance with company quality management systems.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation, or related discipline.
Experience
- 12+ years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience leading engineering teams or projects.
- Experience in Vacuum Systems, Industrial Equipment, Semiconductor, Process Industry, Oil & Gas, Chemical, or Manufacturing environments preferred.
