Job Overview
The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities at residential project sites, ensuring work is executed as per drawings, quality standards, and timelines. This role involves coordination between contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams for timely execution of work.
- Monitor project progress and report status updates to the project manager.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and conduct regular site inspections.
- Check and verify measurements, material usage, and work completed on-site.
- Manage and track site materials, including receipt, storage, and usage.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site protocols.
- Identify and resolve on-site issues and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain site documentation, including daily reports, work logs, and material records.
- Coordinate with teams for execution clarity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in residential construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and site practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with real estate developers or large residential sites.
- Familiarity with project management tools and basic software (AutoCAD, MS Excel, Google Workspace).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
