Job Summary
Indian University Press is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer cum DTP Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing print materials, book layout, typesetting, and preparing print-ready files. Candidates should be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and have strong formatting skills. Freshers with the required software knowledge are also encouraged to apply.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design book covers, brochures, flyers, posters, and marketing materials.
- Create and modify page layouts using Adobe InDesign.
- Perform DTP work, including typesetting, formatting, and page composition.
- Prepare print-ready files as per production standards.
- Work with Hindi and English text formatting.
- Handle mathematical equations using MathType.
- Ensure proper alignment, margins, fonts, and overall page quality.
- Coordinate with the editorial and production teams to meet project deadlines.
- Make revisions based on feedback while maintaining design consistency.
