Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Blood Home Collection Technician to collect blood samples from patients at their homes safely and professionally. The candidate should ensure proper sample collection, labeling, transportation, and maintain patient comfort and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit patients’ homes for blood sample collection as per appointment schedule.
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples accurately and safely.
- Label and handle samples properly to avoid errors.
- Maintain hygiene, infection control, and biomedical waste disposal standards.
- Transport collected samples to the laboratory within the specified time.
- Verify patient details and maintain records correctly.
- Explain basic pre-test instructions to patients when required.
- Maintain professional behavior and patient confidentiality.
- Coordinate with lab staff and reporting team regarding sample status.
- Ensure collection materials and equipment are properly maintained.
Required Qualifications
- DMLT / MLT / B.Sc MLT or relevant certification.
- Experience in blood collection
- Fresher candidates with good practical knowledge can also apply.

- Good venipuncture skills
- Communication and patient handling skills
- Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures
- Time management and route planning
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of infection control practices
Additional Requirements
- Two-wheeler with valid driving license preferred.
- Willingness to travel for home sample collection.
- Flexible to work in rotational shifts if required.
Working Conditions
- Field-based job involving travel.
- Daily home visit assignments.
- May require early morning collections.
