Requirements & Skills:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Audio-Visual system design, configuration, and integration.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with AV system design software (AutoCAD proficiency required; knowledge of D-Tools, Visio, or similar is a plus).
Experience designing systems including:
- LCD/LED/LED walls/Video wall displays
- Projection systems
- Media players/Digital Signage systems
- Sound reinforcement/performance audio systems
- PA/BGM systems
- AV Control Systems
- AV Networking Systems
- Video Conferencing Systems
- Discussion Systems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics and communicate design intent effectively.
- Familiarity with AV standards, signal flow, and integration with IT and networking systems (IP addressing, VLANs, QoS basics).
Certifications (Preferred/ is a Plus):
- AVIXA CTS, CTS-D Certification.
- Manufacturer certifications (e.g., Crestron, Q-SYS, Dante, Extron, Shure, Biamp)
Soft Skills:
- Strong knowledge of AV system design architecture, system performance criteria, and pilot testing processes.
- Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate and partner with Sales teams, clients, and installation teams to define and communicate technical design solutions.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving ability, and strong attention to detail.
- Good grasp of construction coordination basics (MEP drawings, building coordination).
Responsibilities:
- Work with project managers, sales teams, and engineers to design audio-visual systems based on client needs and site conditions.
- Translate project scope and functional requirements into technical documentation including:
- System design drawings
- Signal flow diagrams
- Rack elevations and cable schedules
- Equipment lists and installation specifications
- Communicate design intent effectively to CAD operators, technicians, and installation teams.
- Specify appropriate equipment to meet performance requirements and budgetary constraints.
- Coordinate technical design solutions with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure system designs prioritize ease of use, reliability, and scalability.
- Assist in system configuration, pilot phases, and testing to verify performance during project development.
- Provide field support to installation teams to ensure designs are implemented as intended.
- Participate in design reviews and make adjustments as needed based on client feedback and evolving project conditions.
- Stay updated on emerging AV technologies, product innovations, and best practices for system integration.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

- Follows US Pacific Time (Night Shift in Indian Time).
