Purpose of the Role
1. To accomplish the Business objectives by achieving Optimum Process Design for ease of manufacturing and effective utilization of resources
2. Timely completion of Process Documents as per agreed targets.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Timely delivery of Process Document handover to the shop floor inline with target plan to achieve organisational objectives

Reduce lead time on FAI submission

Implement innovative ideas to reduce cost and improve productivity and efficiency

Cost Savings in Procurement of Raw Material, Bought out Item, consumables
-
Deliver Process Document at First Time Right (FTR) to eliminate Reworks and Rejections in Part Development
-
Hold meetings with Customers on project status along with Project Management to meet their requirements.

Prepare the project time line to meet customer needs.

Attend PO review meeting, comprehend the scope of the project

Preparation of Manufacturing Technology Sheet Number, Raw Material Number, Bought out item (BOI) Number, consumable Number
-
Review Technical data and PO requirements received from customer and prepare for preliminary review.

Verify the Customer Drawing 2D to 3D Model Verfication
-
Create the Final Drawing, interpretation as per the industrial / Aerospace standards.

Interpretation GD & T and AS9100 audit requirements.
-
Coordinate and developing manufacturing concepts and strategies to support CFT.
-
Create New Product documentation like Statement of SOP, Work Instruction, Technical Query, Capability Assessment, Risk Assessment, Raw Material Assessment, PFD, Manufacturing Router & Bill of Material, PFMEA, Control Plan, Specification Matrix and all technical requirement consumption & Gap analysis for manufacturing readiness.

Developing, implementing and maintaining various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions.

Heat Treatment (such as Annealing, Solutionizing, Ageing, vacuum & Stress Relieving) study and flow down the implicit and explicit customer requirements to the In-house and suppliers through technical documents through Process information.

Special Process (such as Anodizing, Passivation, cadmium & Nickel plating, protective treatments, organic and inorganic coating) study and flow down the implicit and explicit customer requirements to the In-house and suppliers through technical documents like Visual & Masking Aids.

Interfaces with CFT functions to coordinate the release of new products & Improvement of existing products.

Adheres to design & manufacturing standards and procedures governing documents and data control for the associated business group.

Coordinating with configuration management team and cross functional teams for Review ECM for internal & external impact, effective implementation for ECM documentation.

Assists to investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues.

Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving.
-
Handling Transfer work documentations and customer approval.
-
Ensure Necessary to perform the part Manufacturing such as product structure, bill of materials, product safety requirements, material handling and root cause analysis.

Performing 8D and CAPA for customer complaints.
-
Knowledge of Sheetmetal manufacturing processes such as Routing/Cutting, Bending, Forming (Rubber Press, Fluid Cell, Stretch & Deep draw), Rolling, Piercing & Blanking operations.

Knowledge of Sheetmetal manufacturing processes such as material behavior/flow/thinning/Warpage/Distortion in deep draw, Hand and Rubber Press forming and heat treatment operations

Knowledge of Sub assembly manufacturing processes such as Riveting, Bonding, Sealant application, countersinking, Heli coil installation, Bush Pressing, Torque tightening operations.

Ensure compliance to organization Quality Management System requirements.

Creating of Routing & Bill of Material in ERP

Implement the requirements of ACME among entire Process Planning team

Adhere and implement the TQM methodologies
-
Ensure adherence to Business Excellence processes in all activities related to the section

To attend daily Project Planning status review meeting and update the status
-
Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma and Manufacturing.

Ensure use of latest technologie for Process Planning creation
-
Initiate Brain storming session with CFT team to arrive the optimized process flow.

Guide and Co ordinate the team member to achive the target

Intract with CFT team members for get the clarifications
-
Offer support and understanding to colleagues during challenging times, such as personal or professional difficulties.
