As Director of Engineering, you will lead and scale the engineering function for RHIA. You will shape the technical strategy, build high-performing teams, and deliver reliable, scalable products that solve real travel industry problems. You will be responsible for defining and executing the engineering roadmap, ensuring scalable and efficient technology solutions, and fostering a high-performance culture. You will collaborate closely with the executive leadership team, product managers, and other key stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Own the engineering strategy and execution plan aligned with business goals (growth, revenue, uptime) - Collaborate with CEO/CTO and Product leadership on roadmap and prioritization - Shape architectural vision to support scalability, reliability, and global expansion - Hire, mentor, and develop Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and individual contributors - Establish strong engineering culture — ownership, learning, accountability - Ensure delivery of high-quality SaaS products on schedule - Improve architecture, observability, DevOps, and security practices - Prioritize refactoring, technical debt reduction, and quality improvements - Lead disaster recovery planning and uptime SLAs - Implement robust agile processes and metrics (velocity, cycle time, quality) - Drive release planning, CI/CD automation, and test coverage - Build systems for monitoring, alerting, and site reliability - Work with Product & UX to translate market needs into technical solutions - Partner with Sales & Customer Success on feasibility and delivery commitments - Communicate engineering status and risks to stakeholders - Provide strategic direction for the development and implementation of AI technologies. - Define and implement the technology stack for AI development. - Implementing new systems and infrastructures, ensuring technical excellence, versatility, safety, resiliency and scalability in the architecting and engineering of product solutions. - Using stakeholders feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology. - Communicating technology strategy to partners and investors.
Pay: ₹6,500,000.00 - ₹7,500,000.00 per year
