We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and execution-focused Interior Designer to join our team in Bhubaneswar.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of interior design, space planning, materials, furniture, lighting, colours, finishes, and on-site execution.
The role will involve working on residential and commercial interior projects, from concept development and design planning through execution and completion. Regular site supervision and coordination will be a key part of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site visits and supervise ongoing interior execution work.
- Monitor site progress and ensure work is executed according to approved designs, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, vendors, suppliers, and other site teams.
- Identify and resolve design or execution-related issues arising on site.
- Verify site measurements and actual site conditions before finalising drawings or placing orders.
- Monitor workmanship, finishing quality, material usage, and project timelines.
- Provide regular updates regarding site progress to the internal team and management.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, vendors, and suppliers throughout the project.
- Assist with BOQs, material specifications, quantity requirements, and vendor coordination.
- Ensure projects maintain the required standards of design, functionality, execution, detailing, and quality.
- Handle multiple projects and sites while ensuring project timelines are maintained.
Skills & Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience in Interior Design.
- Practical experience in site supervision and interior project execution.
- Strong understanding of space planning, materials, furniture, lighting, finishes, and interior detailing.
- Knowledge of civil finishes, carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, false ceilings, flooring, painting, furniture, and other interior works.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and/or relevant 3D rendering software.
- Ability to read, understand, and coordinate working drawings on site.
- Strong aesthetic sense with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable with regular site visits and hands-on site supervision.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, vendors, labour teams, clients, and other project stakeholders.
Experience
Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Interior Design, preferably with practical exposure to both design development and site execution.
Experience working on residential, commercial, hospitality, or premium interior projects will be preferred.
Compensation
₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month, depending on the candidate’s experience, portfolio, technical skills, and knowledge of design execution and site supervision.

Candidates are required to share an updated CV and portfolio showcasing relevant work, including design concepts, space planning, working drawings, 3D visualisations, material selections, and completed or executed projects.

Please Note: This is a full-time, in-person position involving regular site visits, project coordination, and on-site supervision.
