Job Summary:
Responsible for leading end-to-end production operations for Air Conditioner manufacturing, ensuring production targets, product quality, cost efficiency, timely delivery, and continuous improvement across the manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead overall production operations for Air Conditioner manufacturing
- Develop and execute production plans to achieve output and delivery targets
- Manage assembly lines, manpower, machinery, and production resources
- Monitor production KPIs, OEE, productivity, rejection, and downtime
- Coordinate with R&D, Quality, Procurement, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- Reduce production costs, wastage, rework, and manufacturing downtime
- Drive process optimization and capacity improvement initiatives
- Lead and mentor production managers, engineers, supervisors, and shop-floor teams
- Prepare production MIS and performance reports for senior management
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of AC manufacturing and assembly processes
- Understanding of refrigeration systems, compressors, heat exchangers, refrigerants, and HVAC components
- Expertise in production planning, process improvement, and capacity management
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in SAP/ERP and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Qualification & Experience:
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
- 12–18 years of experience in manufacturing/production
- Minimum 5 years in a senior production leadership role
- Experience in Air Conditioner manufacturing is preferred
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with split AC, window AC, inverter AC, VRF/VRV, or commercial HVAC products
- Experience in organizations such as LG, Voltas, Blue Star, Daikin, Panasonic, Samsung, Haier, Carrier, Hitachi, or similar HVAC/home appliance manufacturers will be an added advantage
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per month
