SolidWorks Design Engineer (Sheet Metal)
Location: Ecotech-1, Greater Noida / Okhla Industrial Area, New Delhi

Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month (Based on Experience)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SolidWorks Design Engineer with a strong background in Sheet Metal Design. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, modeling, and detailing sheet metal and fabrication components using SolidWorks. The role involves working closely with production and engineering teams to develop accurate manufacturing drawings and 3D models.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop sheet metal components using SolidWorks.
- Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
- Prepare fabrication and production drawings.
- Design weldments and structural fabrication assemblies.
- Update drawings and models based on engineering change requests and redline markups.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Maintain design documentation according to company standards.
- Ensure designs comply with manufacturing and quality requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (Modeling, Drafting & Assemblies).
- Experience in Sheet Metal Design.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes and weldments.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Understanding of GD&T and manufacturing drawings.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in Mechanical Design.
- Hands-on experience in Sheet Metal Industry is required.
- Experience in fabrication or structural design will be an added advantage.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
