The role
We are looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong licensing and subscription management knowledge, experience working with enterprise tools, and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across operational and senior management levels.
This role will focus on software procurement, subscription management, rightsizing opportunities, deployment governance, and optimization of software assets to ensure cost efficiency and compliance across the organization.

Software & Subscription Management

Manage software and subscription requests from internal stakeholders.

Ensure renewals are completed prior to expiry and aligned with business requirements.

Validate licensing needs, support levels, and commercial implications before procurement.

Monitor software usage and recommend optimization opportunities.

Software Procurement & Optimization
-
Analyze demand volumes and identify re-harvesting opportunities.

Recommend the best-fit products and licensing models based on actual usage.

Optimize software footprint by removing unused or underutilized deployments.

Ensure procurement decisions align with business needs and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Deployment & Compliance

Provide deployment recommendations and prerequisites for implementation.

Define deployment standards and ensure deployments are completed as recommended.

Maintain software compliance and governance best practices.

Stakeholder Management
-
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.

Present recommendations and licensing insights to both operational teams and senior management.

Deliver a high level of customer service and support throughout the software lifecycle
What we need to see from you

Strong knowledge of Software Asset Management (SAM) and software licensing.

Customer-facing experience is mandatory.

Experience with: ServiceNow Request Management Tool, SAM tools,Active Directory, SCCM,Virtualized environments

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Good understanding of software deployment and subscription lifecycle management.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
