Role description
Python Automation Test Engineer
Experience: 3+ Years
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in Automation Testing
- Strong programming experience in Python
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing automated test frameworks and test scripts
- Good understanding of Software Testing concepts, SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
- Experience in Manual Testing, including test case creation, execution, and defect reporting
- Strong knowledge of Storage Domain concepts (SAN, NAS, File Systems, Data Protection, Storage Protocols, etc.)
- Experience in API, Functional, Integration, and Regression Testing
Good to Have:
- Exposure to AWS cloud services and cloud-based testing environments
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or similar tools
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Python
- Build and enhance test automation frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency
- Perform manual and automated testing to validate product functionality and quality
- Test storage-related features, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and release validation activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation practices
