Purpose of the Role:

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
FUND MANAGEMENT
Prepare & Report daily cash flow to DIC / such other authorized persons;
Execute Fund Allocation instructions from DIC / such other authorized persons;
Ensure submission of Cash Flow Statement to DIC monthly;
Keep Physical Cash in safe locker and reconcile with books of account periodically;
Submit Cash Reconciliation statement for all units [including liasion office] to authorized person on demand;
INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT
Review and Update Investment Policy;
Analyse Investment Credit Risk & Submit to DIC, the latest news about Invested MF / Banks in which FD has been made;
Create / Renew / Close the Fixed deposit / Mutual funds with DIC APPROVAL;
Maintain and Reconcile all Invested Values with books of account / documents every month;
Compute Income accrued on investment [FD / Mutual Fund / Others];
HANDLING OF LIASIONING ACTIVITIES WITH BANKS / INSURANCE / OTHERS
Bank Account opening, maintaining and closing with DIC & Board approval;
Deposit cheques and monitor cheque return or unrealized instruments long pending with banks;
Identify and Report in-operative bank accounts periodically to DIC
Manage and Renew the Fund and Non-fund based limits within due date and do periodical reconciliation;
Receive and Process request for fund loading into IB cash card through Indian Bank
Identify relevant products introduced by banks and if approved, implement the same at LMW;
Maintain Company's Purchase Credit Credit in Safe Custody & Use them only with DIC approval;
Receive and Reconcile all credit card payments with credit card statement and take action for noted variances;
Arrange Indian / Other Bank's Cash Card with DIC approval to employees and reconcile them periodically with receipt of bills;
Process & Arrange Gratuity settlement from Insurance companies;
Co-ordinate & Arrange Employee's on-board into Group Mediclaim Policy and Applicable Refund;
Co-ordinate with liasion office & Receive Expense / BRS statement periodically;
Receive GST Invoices from Banks / Insurance Companies periodically;
Receive / download bank related statements periodically ;
Receive and Respond the request [or] complaints raised by banks / Insurance companies / Other stakeholders dealing with Treasury sub function;
Co-ordinate and Arrange Forex Currency to meet Business Foreign Travel as per policy with FIC approval;
Collect Quote and negotiate with vendors like forex / service providers like banks about product pricing and obtain approving authorities approval;
Co-ordinate the treasury related "inter" and "intra" functional activities;
PERFORM PAYROLL PROCESS
Verify and Update Employee's bank account in Employee Master;
Monitor Employee's Running Advances and It's Recovery & Reconcile with GL periodically;
Verify and Process Employee full and final settlement including VRS;
Receive & Update in system, the Payroll related deductions handled in Treasury;
Verify & Disburse Salary, Wages, Bonus, Gratuity and other employee related payments with DIC approval;
Verify & Disburse promptly the recovered amount of housing loan, society loan, insurance etc., that are payable to various institutions ;
BOOK KEEPING AND RECORD MAINTENANCE
Maintain all Original FD Receipts in Safe Custody;
Receive & Keep safely Original Sanction Letter / agreements entered with or by LMW in Treasury Function;
Review and "Renew / close with DIC approval" the consultancy / rental / such other agreements handled in Treasury function;
Negotiate better pricing for availed services like forex / LC Issuance / BG commission / e-brc charges etc.;
Maintain treasury related documents, vouchers and bills safely with complete traceability;
Initiate action for record disposal with DIC / FIC approval.
Maintain such other records and confidential information safely and submit to the authorised person on demand;
PERFORM ACCOUNTING AND RECONCILIATION
Receive / Account [or] Ensure accounting of income, bills, vouchers, claims & reimbursements with appropriate approval / policy & Monitor pending compliants, if any;
Verify and Release consultancy payments as per agreements / invoices every month
Apply Receipts and Reconcile periodically all liaison office advances / Travel advances / Salary advances etc.,
Verify and Settle claims and reimbursements as per policy / accorded approval;
Verify and Post Staff Tax Investment details periodically
Perform / Ensure reconciliation of all Bank Accounts [including liasion office]; Investment Account and Other applicable GL codes;
Receive and Submit GST bills & Vouchers to GST Team periodically;
Prepare & Submit Treasury related GL code reconciliation report's to authorized person on demand;
MANAGE AND MAINTAIN STAFF WELFARE FUND [SWF]
Maintain fund related statements and submit to Autorised Person on demand
Receive and Settle eligible claims subject to fund availability and approval;
Co-ordinate with HR for policy revisions / other activities relating to SWF
COMPLY WITH LMW POLICIES AND GUIDELINES / APPLICABLE LAWS
Ensure adherence to Systems, Procedures and Policies that are Published or Informed time to time either in general / Specific to Treasury Function;
Create / Review / Update SOP / Policy in respect of Treasury function;
Renew Legal Entity Identifier Registration Certificate Annually;
Verify and Ensure correctness of Statutory deduction / recovery handled in Treasury Function;
Pay and Account all statutory dues that are handled in Treasury Function within permitted time;
TQM, RCM AND OTHER ACTIVITIES
Ensure and implement TQM concept at Treasury functions;
Co-ordinate and Co-operate with Internal and External audit related matters and respond to audit observations promptly;
Identify process improvements and implement the same
Review and Update process changes in SOP / Work Instruction;
Monitor progress of entire Treasury Activities & send report to DIC / FIC periodically about completion / issues;
Receive and Execute FIC / DIC Instructions
Perform Cheque Printing with approval and keep safely Printed & signed but not issued on the same day
Keep safely unused printed cheques
PREPARE AND SUBMIT MIS REPORTS
Prepare and Submit MIS Reports to FIC / DIC periodically;
