We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Admission Counsellor Intern to support our Admissions team in managing the end-to-end admission process. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and organizational skills and be eager to learn student counselling, documentation, reporting, and admission operations.
This internship offers hands-on experience in handling student enquiries, maintaining admission records, coordinating documentation, and supporting the complete admission lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to prospective students and provide accurate information about courses, admission procedures, and eligibility criteria.
- Follow up with leads and assist students throughout the admission journey.
- Guide applicants on the required documents and ensure timely submission of all admission-related paperwork.
- Verify and organize student documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and update student records, lead details, and admission status in the CRM system.
- Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly admission reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and timely admission process.
- Resolve basic student queries and escalate complex issues to senior counsellors when required.
- Ensure proper documentation, data accuracy, and compliance with organizational processes.
- Support the Admissions team in achieving enrolment targets while delivering an excellent student experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (completed or currently pursuing) in any discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and Google Workspace.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Willingness to learn counselling and admission processes.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
