Job Title: HVAC Technician
Department: Engineering / Maintenance
Job Summary
The HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration systems. The role ensures all HVAC equipment operates efficiently to provide a safe and comfortable environment for guests, customers, and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of HVAC systems, including AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF, split ACs, package units, and chillers.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment to minimize downtime.
- Monitor operating parameters such as temperature, pressure, and airflow.
- Perform routine cleaning of filters, coils, ducts, and condensers.
- Check refrigerant levels and identify leaks, carrying out repairs as required.
- Maintain electrical control panels, thermostats, motors, compressors, and related components.
- Ensure proper functioning of ventilation and exhaust systems.
- Attend emergency maintenance calls promptly.
- Maintain daily maintenance logs, service reports, and equipment history records.
- Coordinate with external service providers during annual maintenance or major repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company maintenance procedures.
- Support other engineering and maintenance activities when required.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workshop, tools, and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Valid certification in HVAC or Refrigeration (preferred).
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance.
- Experience in malls, multiplexes, hotels, hospitals, or commercial buildings is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration cycles.
- Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with HVAC safety standards and operating procedures.
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Engineering Supervisor / Chief Engineer
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
