Education : Civil Engineer
Experiance : 5+ Years in Tendering
Job Profile:
- Researching and Identifying Opportunities:The Tender Manager proactively seeks out potential tenders, especially government and other public sector projects in the civil engineering field according to Scribd.
- Analyzing Tender Documents:Thoroughly reviewing tender documents, including technical specifications, drawings, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ), to understand project requirements and scope.
- Clarifying Requirements:Working with clients and internal teams to clarify any ambiguities or questions regarding the tender requirements.
2. Preparing and Submitting Bids:
- Bid Preparation:Developing and preparing detailed bid proposals, including technical specifications, cost estimates, and project timelines.
- Coordination with Internal Teams:Collaborating with planning, engineering, and cost teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive bid submissions.
- Bid Submission:Ensuring timely and compliant submission of bids to the relevant authorities.
3. Managing the Tendering Process:
- Bid Evaluation:Analyzing the company's own bid and competitor bids to assess strengths and weaknesses.
- Negotiation:Negotiating terms and conditions with clients during contract negotiations.
- Communication and Reporting:Maintaining clear communication with internal stakeholders and senior management, providing updates on bid progress and potential risks.
- Handover to Project Management:Facilitating the smooth handover of the project to the project management team upon winning the tender.
4. Other Responsibilities:
- Developing and Maintaining Relationships:Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
