Job Summary
We are looking for a Safety Trainee to support transportation safety operations. The trainee will assist in implementing road safety practices, ensuring driver compliance, conducting vehicle safety inspections, and promoting a safe working environment for drivers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting daily vehicle safety inspections.
- Ensure drivers follow road safety rules and company safety policies.
- Monitor the use of seat belts, PPE, and other safety equipment.
- Support accident and incident reporting and maintain records.
- Assist in conducting driver safety awareness and training programs.
- Help identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
- Support emergency response and first-aid activities.
- Ensure fire extinguishers and emergency equipment are available and in good condition.
- Maintain safety documentation, inspection reports, and checklists.
- Coordinate with transport and maintenance teams to improve fleet safety.
- Promote safe driving practices and compliance with traffic regulations.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of road and transportation safety.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong observation and reporting skills.
- Willingness to work in field operations.
- Ability to learn and work as part of a team.
Preferred Qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Fire & Safety, Industrial Safety, Mechanical, Automobile, or a related field.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of transportation safety standards is an added advantage.
