Job Title: Logistics & Dispatch Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Logistics & Dispatch Manager to lead dispatch planning, logistics operations, transportation management, packaging coordination, and on-time delivery of CNC machines and components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth movement of materials and finished machines while optimizing logistics costs, delivery schedules, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor dispatch activities for CNC machines, spare parts, and production materials.
- Ensure timely delivery of machines and components to customers, dealers, and branch locations.
- Manage transportation planning, vehicle arrangements, freight negotiations, and logistics coordination.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase, Service, and Sales departments to ensure dispatch readiness.
- Oversee machine packaging, loading, unloading, and shipment documentation.
- Manage dispatch documentation including invoices, e-way bills, packing lists, LR copies, insurance documents, and transport records.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve logistics and delivery-related issues.
- Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Develop and maintain relationships with transporters, freight partners, and logistics service providers.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.
- Lead and supervise dispatch, logistics, and warehouse personnel.
- Maintain logistics MIS reports, dispatch records, delivery performance reports, and KPI dashboards.
- Support domestic and export shipment coordination when required.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance dispatch efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / BE / BTech / BBA / BCom / MBA in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related disciplines.
- 5–10+ years of experience in Logistics, Dispatch, Supply Chain, or Warehouse Operations.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, machine tools, capital equipment, or industrial products is preferred.
- Experience handling large machine dispatches and transportation planning will be an added advantage.
