We are looking for a smart and enthusiastic Accounts & Warehouse Executive who is eager to learn and build a strong career in accounting while working closely with warehouse operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and candidates with up to 3 years of experience.
Role Summary
You will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day accounting records while ensuring warehouse transactions are accurately captured in our WMS. You will work closely with the warehouse team, vendors and our Senior Accountant/CFO to keep accounts accurate, reconciled and audit-ready.
This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and ownership are more important than years of experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts
- Record Purchase, Sales and Expense entries accurately.
- Maintain vendor / customer ledger accounts.
- Process purchase invoices and verify supporting documents.
- Assist with GST, TDS and statutory documentation.
- Perform weekly Bank Reconciliation (BRS).
- Assist in month-end account closing activities.
- Maintain proper filing of accounting records.
- Coordinate with auditors whenever required.
Warehouse & Operations
- Verify Vendor Receipts against physical stock.
- Validate Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, GRNs and Purchase Invoices, Sales Invoices.
- Ensure warehouse transactions are entered correctly into the WMS.
- Verify quantity, rate and document accuracy before posting.
- Help maintain inventory accuracy by coordinating with warehouse staff.
- Report mismatches immediately and ensure timely resolution.
System Responsibilities
- Work extensively on Agrovanam's Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Ensure all warehouse movements are updated on time.
- Maintain clean and accurate transaction data.
- Generate operational and accounting reports as required.
Desired Candidate ProfileEducational Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent.
- Freshers are welcome.
- Candidates with up to 3 years of accounting experience may also apply.
Required Skills
- Strong accounting fundamentals.
- Good understanding of Debit & Credit concepts.
- Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills.
- Comfortable working with computer software.
- Good communication skills in Tamil / English.
- Basic English reading and writing skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to warehouse, inventory or logistics operations.
- Experience with ERP/WMS software will be an added advantage.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and follow them through until closure.

Reporting Structure
You will report directly to the Senior Accountant / CFO, who will mentor and guide you during your training period.
SalaryTraining Period (First 3 Months)
₹14,000 per month
After Successful Confirmation
₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on performance)
There will be excellent opportunities to grow into higher accounting and operations responsibilities as the company expands.
