Roles & Responsibilities:
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Develop and execute a preventive maintenance schedule for all printing and packaging machinery, including presses, laminators, slitters, and other related equipment.
· Breakdown Maintenance:
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs to minimize production downtime.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems with printing, packaging, and converting machinery.
· Installation & Commissioning:
- Install new machinery and equipment in collaboration with the production team and manufacturers.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly commissioned and calibrated according to specifications and safety regulations.
· Troubleshooting & Repair:
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems in printing presses, die cutters, packaging machines, and other production equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty parts, motors, belts, bearings, or any other components to restore functionality.
· Electrical Systems Maintenance:
- Maintain electrical systems, control panels, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), sensors, and other electronic control systems.
- Perform mechanical repairs such as aligning, fitting, and adjusting parts like gears, rollers, and shafts.
· Equipment Calibration & Quality Control:
- Calibrate machinery for optimal performance and quality output, ensuring that all processes meet production standards.
- Assist in setting up machines for specific jobs, ensuring that print quality, packaging alignment, and precision are maintained.
· Health, Safety, & Compliance:
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety protocols, government regulations, and industry standards.
- Participate in safety audits, and ensure that all equipment operates in a safe and reliable manner.
· Spare Parts & Inventory Management:
- Manage and maintain the inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables required for repairs and maintenance.
- Work with the procurement team to order new parts as necessary and maintain relationships with suppliers.
· Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze recurring equipment issues and suggest improvements or modifications to enhance performance and reduce downtime.
- Support the production team in optimizing machine setup, reducing waste, and improving overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
· Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed reports of all maintenance activities, repairs, and downtime events.
- Prepare monthly and annual maintenance reports for review by management.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to company and industry safety standards, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Ensure that chemicals, inks, and other press supplies are used and stored according to safety protocols.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Conduct routine inspections to detect any malfunctions or issues early and perform timely repairs to prevent breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and service activities.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
