Designation: Product Engineer/Sr. Product Engineer
Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop Engine Control Modules (ECM), Genset Controller systems for power generation and industrial applications.

Define control system architecture, functional requirements, and specifications for engine and genset control solutions.

Develop control logic, algorithms, and electrical schematics for engine management and power generation systems.

Integrate controllers with sensors, actuators, alternators, and engine subsystems.
-
Support ECU/PCM software integration, calibration, and functional testing activities.

Prepare wiring diagrams, harness specifications, BOMs, and technical documentation.

Conduct system validation, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
-
Collaborate with software, mechanical, testing, and manufacturing teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, risk assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.

Provide technical support during prototype development, field trials, and customer issue resolution.
Skills and Experience Required:

Qualification: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.

5 to 10 years of experience in engine control systems, genset controller development, ECU/PCM design, or related domains.

Hands-on experience in electrical system design and control system integration.
-
Experience working with diesel/gas engine control systems and power generation products is preferred.

Strong knowledge of engine management systems, genset controllers, and PCM/ECU architecture.

Experience in control logic development and controller configuration.

Proficiency in electrical schematic design tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or equivalent.

Knowledge of embedded systems, sensors, actuators, and power electronics.

Experience with validation testing, troubleshooting, and system diagnostics.

Familiarity with DFMEA, DVP&R, root cause analysis, and engineering documentation.

Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
-
Ability to work in cross-functional and global engineering teams.
