Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Quality Head to lead the Quality Department in our CNC & VMC manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), leading quality audits, reducing defects and customer complaints, and driving continuous improvement across all manufacturing processes. The candidate should work closely with Production, Maintenance, Purchase, and Stores teams to achieve the company's quality objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Quality Assurance & Quality Control team.
- Ensure quality from incoming material inspection to final product dispatch.
- Monitor product quality, process capability, rejection, rework, and customer complaints.
- Conduct Internal & External Audits and ensure compliance with ISO 9001
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Review engineering drawings, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
- Monitor calibration of measuring instruments and ensure process compliance.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Purchase, and Stores for quality improvements.
- Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and Quality KPIs.
- Train and develop the quality team to achieve operational excellence.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Engineering discipline.
Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in CNC/VMC Manufacturing.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Quality Head / Quality Manager role.
Required SkillsTechnical & Quality Management Skills
- Strong knowledge of CNC & VMC machining processes, machining parameters, tooling, and manufacturing quality requirements.
- Excellent understanding of Engineering Drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), Tolerance Analysis, and Inspection Standards.
- Hands-on experience in implementing and managing PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), PFMEA (Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control), MSA (Measurement System Analysis), Control Plan, 8D Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA), and complete Quality Documentation.
- Ability to prepare, review, and maintain Inspection Reports, Quality Records, SOPs, Work Instructions, Process Flow Charts, Calibration Records, Audit Reports, NCR Reports, Customer Complaint Reports, and CAPA Reports.
- Good understanding of ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949 (Preferred), Internal Audits, External Audits, Customer Audits, Supplier Audits, and Quality Compliance.
- Hands-on experience in handling Customer Complaints, Supplier Quality, Vendor Development, Process Improvement, Rejection Reduction, Rework Control, and Cost Reduction.
Inspection & Measuring Instruments
- Proficiency in using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Dial Gauge, Thread Gauge, Plug Gauge, Ring Gauge, Slip Gauge, Surface Plate, Profile Projector, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).
Computer Skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, ERP/SAP (Preferred), and Quality Reporting Tools.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
