Job Summary:
The Gardener is responsible for maintaining the landscape, lawns, plants, trees, and flower beds to ensure the premises remain clean, healthy, and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Water plants, lawns, trees, and shrubs regularly.
- Plant, prune, trim, and maintain flowers, hedges, and trees.
- Remove weeds, dry leaves, and unwanted plants.
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and insecticides safely when required.
- Mow lawns and maintain grass areas.
- Keep the garden clean and free from litter.
- Monitor plant health and report any diseases or pest infestations.
- Maintain gardening tools and equipment in good condition.
- Assist in seasonal planting and landscaping activities.
- Ensure proper disposal of garden waste.
- Follow all safety procedures while handling tools and chemicals.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of gardening and landscaping.
- Knowledge of plant care, watering schedules, and fertilizers.
- Ability to operate gardening tools and equipment.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
- Hardworking, punctual, and responsible.
Education:
- Minimum: 8th Pass / 10th Pass (Preferred)
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience as a Gardener or in landscape maintenance is preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- May require lifting, bending, digging, and prolonged standing.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Garden cleanliness and appearance.
- Plant survival and healthy growth.
- Timely completion of gardening tasks.
- Proper maintenance of gardening tools.
- Minimal plant damage and effective pest control.
Pay: ₹8,111.11 - ₹20,000.00 per month
