About the role
As a Proposal Engineer – Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for preparing and managing technical and commercial proposals in line with client requirements, while ensuring timely coordination with internal teams for seamless proposal and sales order execution.
Experience & Qualifications
3–5 years of relevant experience in Sales & Marketing – Proposal functions, preferably within the process plant equipment manufacturing industry
Minimum 3 years of experience in proposal engineering and process engineering
B.E. Mechanical / B.Tech Oil / B.Tech Chemical
Skillsets
- Prepare technical proposals, obtain approvals, and maintain proposal entries in SAP/ERP systems
- Coordinate with Purchase and Engineering Design teams for preparation of commercial proposals and sales orders
- Handle client queries related to submitted proposals and sales orders on a regular basis
- Register and validate enquiries received through various channels, and track enquiries through the proposal stage to sales order execution
- Possess a sound understanding of process engineering concepts and technologies
- Prepare monthly MIS reports in coordination with team members
- Manage sales order punching and proposal tracking through SAP/ERP systems; SAP knowledge is essential
- Update clients on latest technologies, projects, and achievements through digital platforms, visits, and other communication channels
- Lead and support team activities whenever required to ensure timely execution and coordination
